I think with all of this heat, the puppies have been spending their days snoozing, so they are acting completely nocturnal now!  They were up playing most of the night.  I would wake up and hear them rustling about, playing with each other.  Even little Mia was awake most of the night.  She can escape her enclosure now, so time to make some changes there!  So we were up a few times in the night and it was somewhat fortunate, because i was able to tidy up the pen before little feet could trod through little poops.  Now, at 8 am, everyone is sound asleep enjoying the cool morning.  Really reminds me of my teenage days...party all night....sleep all day! 

The picture I wanted to post just would not upload.  I tried ALL day.  It was a cute pic of Chai playing with Charlie, and Charlie was in the midst of a roll.  He was literally airborne with his legs all over the place.  Its a great photo and I so wish I could share it with you all. 

who are the cutest puppies in the world?  Well, Bumper, Quinton, Charlie, OJ (Oliver), Abbath, Luna, and Mia off course!!!  I was asked today, if I will miss them when they all go.  Oh man...I thought this day would never come and here it is, barely over one week away!  I will be sooooo sad to see them go.  I will miss them sooooooo much.  But, they have their journey and many lives to enrich with laughter and fun, and I have had the awesome pleasure of having them all to myself for 8 weeks, watching them grow and learn.  I am coming to terms with saying goodbye.  I will love to see them flourish in their families, as I know they will.  but it will be so hard to see them off. :(

Well, the jury is still out on what Ollie's permanent name will be, but until his new family decides, we are still going to refer to him as Oliver.  For the record, both of the name choices are great, but we will wait until the big decision is final before revealing it to the world!  His new family is so wonderful and I am so happy that he finally has a home because he is such a precious boy.  Now just Mr. Charlie!

Today was another first for the babies as they got to explore the yard for the first time.  OMG they LOVED it!  They ran and ran and ran and jumped and played and investigated.  Myiah enjoyed interacting with them for the first time.  She gave them kisses and started teaching them gentle play.  She was a great babysitter! 

Every morning when I get up, the puppies have usually beat me by about 15 minutes.  So by the time I get to the kitchen, they are usually deep into playing and running amuck.  Well this morning, there was a HUGE mess in there as someone had to go #2 and it was spread from one end to the other.  I wont post a picture of that though!  So today at lunch its BATH time!  I have already done some spot cleaning on the puppies when needed, but I think in light of the mess this morning, its a good time to get them all nice and squeaky clean again!
