Fireworks ALL night!

Well, that was not a fun night.  Im all about celebrating Canada Day and all that goes along with that, but I have some neighbours that thought it would be cool to shoot off fireworks sporadically until 3 AM!!!  So, about every half hour we would hear a loud BANG and then there would be barking from all 12 dogs in the house for about 3 minutes.  Little puppy voices mixed in with the more mature woof of alarm from the big dogs.  I was tempted to go for a walk to see if I could find my nice neighbours and have a few choice words for them, but i refrained.  The puppies didn't seem scared though thank goodness, more just curious about what this crazy noise was.  This morning though, Quinton would not settle down.  He cried and cried.  I offered him food, water, puppy milk, cuddles.  Nothing seemed to be able to console him.  Then I put Molly into the dog bed with him alone, and he nursed to his hearts content.  Now he is sleeping soundly again.  I guess he just needed his mommy after such a crazy night.
