Little Mia met her new mom and dad on Thursday and are they ever wonderful!  I feel beyond lucky to know that these puppies have the best homes i could ever hope for.  Faith and Dandy seemed to approve too!

Finally a gorgeous day when I am off!  Im so excited to see sunshine again!  So, decided today was the day to introduce the puppies to grass for the first time!  They seemed to love it and were running around like crazy!  But here it is, only 11:30 and its already getting too hot out, and they are all passed out now in the shade, but its time to come inside again.   I think after all of the play outside, they will probably sleep all afternoon today.

It's Little Mia's turn in the spotlight.  She is so sweet and quiet compared to Molly's brawly bunch of boys (and Luna) that I sometimes forget to take her picture as often.  Having said that, I pretty much only have pics of her sleeping thus far because, well, she sleeps ALL DAY.  Lucky girl!  So, after Faith had her breakfast, we found Mia passed out as usual, except this time in the cutest of positions. I mean bostons LOVE food, but this is ridiculous!  It could not have been comfortable but sound asleep she was.  I am looking forward to her starting to get more active.  She loves giving kisses and has a penetrating gaze that melts my heart.

Getting good pictures now is getting tough!  These guys can move fast now!  The basket helps for sure, but thank goodness for digital!  It took 45 shots to get one decent picture of each puppy.  And I am not claiming to be a photographer extraordinaire or anything, but Im happy with the shots I did get that arent fuzzy or show the tail end of a puppy as they scoot away.  Its so much fun though.  These are the two little guys that still need homes.  Despite lots of interest, these sweeties are still looking for that special family.  Ollie is so darn cute that I am surprise he hasnt been snapped up, and Charlie is probably the smartest  of them so far.  He seems to find the most trouble anyhow!

Quintons Family Visit

Quinton is going to a home with an energetic 2.5 yr old pitbull x called Ruby!  His big sister will have to contend with a pesky puppy until they bond, but I know how my MY pitbull (Myiah) loves my youngest boston (Chai) so I'm sure the transition will go smoothly.  If you havent already seen it, check out the picture of Chai sitting on Myiah under the photos section.  Only a Boston could get away with doing THAT!  Hopefully Ruby learns who the boss is quickly!  LOL

Luna's Family

Luna is a lucky little girl!  Its amazing to be able to bring a puppy home and I know the next four weeks are going to seem like forever for Luna's family.  She has the cutest little pink chew bone waiting for her there, and heaps of attention and love.  I could not be happier about her future home.

On another note, I ran out of puppy pads and had to go to newspaper this morning.  OH BOY!!!  the puppies thought that was fantanstic!!!.  They ripped and tore into it, shaking it and dragging hunks of paper around.  Attacking from all angles.  No wonder they are sleeping soundly now!  They fought quite the battle with it this morning.  Puppies have only two speeds.  Play hard and Full stop.  When they get tired, you see their eyes get a bit glazed as they tune out and within about a minute, they are dreaming and twitching their little legs.  Out COLD.

Oh...I almost forgot.  Today is the puppies one month birthday!

BUMPERS NEW FAMILY VISIT

What a lucky little boy, to have a cute little 4 year old to grow up with!  They were a perfect pair and I think they are going to be best buds for a very long time.  My childhood dog was Nifty, a terrier cross.  He had to put up with wearing everything from dresses to hair accessories.  he took part in parades, road trips, and many other adventures in his 10 years.  I know whats in store for little Bumper and one thing is for certain; he will not be short on attention.  His new owner sang him a rendition of 'twinkle twinkle little star' just before they had to leave, and Bumper chimed in!  he actually howled along with her!  It was so neat to see!  They left him a gift of a cute blanket that his little girl had been sleeping with so he can start to get used to her smell.  The biggest challenge will be keeping them from peeing on it!

As time goes and the puppies get bigger, I am finding less and less time to blog about them.  They are now playing with stuffed toys and eating well on their own, and are starting to outsmart my attempts to keep them confined.  They are exploring as far and wide as they can, and like typical bostons, are not letting anything stand in their way.  Yesterday, Quinton managed to traverse the box I use for Molly to sleep in at night.  I put it on one end of the enclosure as a wall, so she can come and go and get outside at night if she needs to (i have a doggie door).  But I am going to have to come up with some other idea, because they are smart little guys (and girl) and boston terriers don't give up on things easily.  Where there's a will, there's a way.
